WVPubFest WVPubFest was founded in 2018 as the brainchild of several WV musicians, organizers, and businesses with several goals in mind: First and foremost, proceeds from the festival will help fund West Virginia Public Broadcasting‘s content, as well as to fund upcoming WV Collective events and programming.
Secondly, to celebrate the vast amount of talent that exists in the mountains of WV. More than 20 WV based bands and musicians will converge at Weathered Ground Brewery on Saturday May 20, 2023 to share their gifts with one another and all the attendees. Third, we always showcase the local makers of fantastic food, beverages, and crafts – all produced right here in the Mountain State.
WV Public Broadcasting works tirelessly to help promote the local music scene and with programs like Mountain Stage, A Change of Tune, and Eclectopia have provided a platform to lift many a WV musician to the next level of their careers. WV Collective continues to bring live theatre and musical performance productions to Southern WV, and are expanding their programming in the coming year.
