You know who we are. Since 2016, the WVC has showcased over ten theatrical productions in addition to annual recurring musical events such as WVPubfest and the Great Beckley Beer Festival. With an eye to the future, we’re looking for someone to help steer the ship and keep our organization ready and able to deliver great art for years to come.

Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Executive Director will include:
- Fundraising: Develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for our programs and projects. Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding organizations to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission.
- Grant Acquisition: Research, identify, and pursue relevant grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making entities. Prepare compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives. Manage grant timelines, requirements, and reporting processes to maximize funding opportunities and support our programming goals.
- Administrative Management: Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization, including budget management and reporting. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to optimize organizational efficiency.
Time Expectancy
Qualifications
Previous experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or related fields considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Passion for the arts and a commitment to our mission.
